Salary: USD 209,130 - 244,500 / annual
Roblox is seeking a Compensation Programs Senior Analyst to lead the design, development, and execution of global compensation programs and cycles. This role reports to the Director of Compensation Programs, Operations and Systems and is based in San Mateo, California (hybrid: onsite Tuesday–Thursday, with optional Monday/Friday presence).
You will own the full lifecycle of bi-annual compensation review cycles, from planning through implementation. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop, design, and manage compensation programs, policies, and processes at a global scale
• Lead implementation of compensation systems and cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify automation, process enhancement, and re-engineering opportunities that optimize performance and support future growth
• Build and maintain Excel models and analyses to inform compensation strategy and business decisions
• Create dashboards, reports, and metrics; monitor data integrity and validity
• Streamline processes through system enhancements in Workday, Zendesk, Jira, and other internal tools
• Communicate strategic findings and recommendations to senior leadership
You will be the go-to expert for compensation data analysis, delivering actionable insights that drive operational and organizational optimization. The role requires balancing quantitative rigor with strategic thinking—seeing beyond the numbers to inform critical business decisions.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of experience in technology, compensation, consulting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR and compensation experience with increasing responsibility in designing, recommending, and implementing business solutions
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including building analyses and automated models
• Knowledge of industry trends and developments in compensation
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Workday
• Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or other BI tools is a plus
