Savvy Wealth is a Series C fintech company reinventing wealth management for independent financial advisors. The company operates as a registered investment advisor (RIA) that partners with experienced advisors, providing them with a modern tech platform, marketing support, investment management, and operational services. Savvy has raised $200M, employs 170+ people, and is on track for $100M ARR in 2026. Inc. ranked Savvy the No. 1 fastest-growing financial services company in America. You will be the first Compensation Operations Manager, owning the end-to-end advisor payout discipline. Currently, the Head of Finance manages this function; you will inherit a working, roughly automated process and make it more accurate and scalable. You will sit in Finance reporting to the Head of Finance but spend most of your time collaborating with advisory operations, trading, billing, post-sales, and directly with advisors. Key responsibilities include: - Running the monthly advisor payout cycle for 100+ advisors, building each payout from contract terms (gross to net), handling edge cases (team payouts, multi-individual coordination), and reconciling every payout before funds move. - Administering the advisor loan program (balances, repayment schedules, offsets), managing equity distributions, overseeing corporate card budgets, triaging payroll escalations, managing platform-fee invoicing and collections, and tracking third-party insurance/annuity deposits. - Building the function by documenting all processes, turning one-off decisions into repeatable procedures, identifying and closing control gaps, and partnering with Data and Engineering to migrate work from spreadsheets into systems. Success means advisors trust their payout statements and every question about advisor pay has one clear owner. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in operations, payroll, commissions, revenue operations, or business operations, in a role where you personally owned a recurring monthly process with money at the end of it. - Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (hard requirement): you must build and audit multi-input calculations, work comfortably with lookups, nested logic, and pivot tables without templates. - Exceptional attention to detail and low tolerance for unexplained variances, including small ones. - Ability to chase information across an organization; most context lives on other teams. - Strong written communication skills to explain compensation calculations to people whose income depends on accuracy. - Working fluency with AI tools and judgment about where they help versus where human decision-making is required. This role will use AI heavily, but every dollar leaving the company is a human decision. NICE TO HAVE: - Experience in wealth management, financial services, or fintech, particularly with advisor, broker, or producer compensation. - Experience with individually negotiated commissions or incentive compensation (non-standardized terms). - Experience with Stripe, corporate card platforms, or payroll systems. - Experience as the first person in a role, building processes from scratch.
