Anthropic is seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Program Manager to build and scale the operational infrastructure that enables rapid product launches and revenue growth. This is a strategic role within the Program Management function, focused on transforming commercial operations into a revenue accelerator. You will own the end-to-end Commercial Launch process, managing intake and scoping for a portfolio of product launches and translating each into commercial-readiness requirements spanning pricing, billing, tax, marketplace compliance, and GTM motions. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to develop clear paths to launch and identify bottlenecks that slow velocity. Key responsibilities include: running launches end-to-end through the commercial readiness process; identifying and resolving launch delays through process and system improvements; building program components that don't yet exist (launch tiering, readiness criteria, playbooks, SLAs); owning major workstreams like instrumentation (pipeline visibility, readiness scorecards, metrics) and workflow tooling/automation; and working cross-functionally to design clear interfaces and processes across teams. You should have 10+ years of operations experience with demonstrated success in billing, payments, or commercial operations (high-volume SaaS preferred). You'll need strong knowledge of billing systems, subscription management, and payments platforms; a proven track record building and scaling operational programs in high-growth environments (0-1 and beyond); willingness to do hands-on operational work while leading; experience with automation and partnering with engineering teams; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent cross-functional collaboration skills; and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Anthropric's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems that are safe and beneficial for users and society. The company is a rapidly growing team of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders building beneficial AI systems.
