Moody's Commercial Operations team is seeking an experienced analyst to support the commercial lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and seamless customer experience. You will execute controls to monitor data quality and process performance, manage assigned portfolios, and support sales teams through digitized workflows. Key responsibilities include managing mandates from handover through billing, handling sales team inquiries regarding customer profiles and unique identifiers, and delivering premium customer service by responding to issuer inquiries and resolving operational disputes.
You will partner with Sales, Global Middle Office, Pricing, Billing, and Collections teams to resolve unbilled revenue, aged accounts receivable, and other commercial operational issues. The role requires identifying and escalating issues requiring management involvement, preparing operational reports and commercial data to support decision-making, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, Salesforce data quality, and operational efficiency through AI tools and automation solutions.
You will build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders globally and contribute to compliance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives. The position involves actively contributing to special projects, ad hoc initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while managing complex operational cases independently and recommending resolution paths.
Required qualifications include 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology, finance relevant to commercial operations (revenue recognition, billing, AR), and basic understanding of capital markets and ratings are valued. A bachelor's degree and fluency in spoken and written English are essential.
