As a Collections Executive, you will support SME business owners by assessing their financial situations, diagnosing problems, and proposing tailored solutions. You'll manage accounts with a strong focus on cash collection and aged debt clearance while minimizing loan defaults. Your role balances exceptional customer service with investor protection, requiring you to build rapport with borrowers while maintaining compliance with FCA guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive financial support and solutions to small business customers
- Managing your own productivity and workload to meet service level expectations
- Handling multiple systems concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Adopting a flexible approach to work and undertaking ad hoc duties as needed
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and FCA guidelines
- Identifying opportunities to use generative AI to streamline tasks and improve productivity
The role is based in London on a hybrid basis (3 days in office). You'll be part of a high-performing team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6 months of customer-facing experience within a Financial Services organization
- Proven track record of consistently achieving targets, SLAs, and KPIs
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use multiple systems concurrently
- Empathy for borrowers and commitment to first-class customer service
- Motivated, deadline-driven individual who can work under pressure while maintaining quality
- Ability to proactively identify and use generative AI tools safely and effectively to enhance output
- Confident using approved AI tools to improve daily workflows
