Neko Health is redefining preventative care through data-driven, non-invasive health scanning combined with personalized clinical insights. As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will support members through their post-scan care journey, owning individual cases end-to-end and ensuring all referrals, follow-up actions, and clinical navigation are handled safely, efficiently, and with empathy.
You will work closely with the Clinical Care Lead, clinical teams, and external healthcare providers to ensure every referral is completed, every communication loop is closed, and no member falls through the gaps. This role combines strong organizational skills with genuine care for people—you'll hold complexity calmly while communicating with warmth and precision across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: coordinating timely and accurate referrals with measurable improvements in completion rates; managing insurance eligibility checks, prior authorization requests, and specialist referral coordination; ensuring case documentation and communication meet quality standards; and handling complex or sensitive member situations with sound judgment and appropriate escalation.
You'll need 2–4+ years in patient navigation, referral coordination, care management, or healthcare operations. Strong understanding of US healthcare systems, insurance workflows, and specialist referral processes is essential. Experience with EHRs or care coordination platforms (Epic, Athena, Elation, Salesforce Health Cloud, or similar) is required. You must demonstrate the ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism, maintain meticulous attention to detail across multi-step workflows, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include experience with multispecialty referral coordination or preventative healthcare models, background in referral-heavy specialties (dermatology, cardiology, primary care), familiarity with QA processes and documentation standards, exposure to digital health or health-tech environments, and experience working within clinical teams in high-volume care coordination settings.
