The company operates an AI-native platform delivering personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care, reaching over 170 million people worldwide through employers, health plans, and partners.
You will join the Care Navigation team providing in-the-moment clinical support to members seeking help with mental health, substance use, or family/relationship concerns. Working the overnight shift (Sunday–Thursday, 12am–8am ET), you will:
• Provide clinical support, psychoeducation, and referrals on a clinical phone queue
• Use active listening, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to engage members
• Assess for risks and provide crisis support, safety planning, and follow-up with high-risk members
• Recommend care plans based on clinical presentation and coordinate connections to appropriate services (Spring Health therapists, coaches, physicians, or external resources)
• Provide after-hours support to members and leaders seeking services or connection to the global team
• Complete professional documentation and interact with members and providers via email
• Follow care management protocols and use clinical judgment to identify and resolve barriers to care
• Coordinate closely with Spring Health care providers and the Provider Operations team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Care Support, Benefits/Billing, Product) to ensure smooth member experience
• Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, and trainings
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members
• Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards
This role requires flexibility for occasional shift changes and availability to work holidays coinciding with scheduled shifts. You will work independently and exercise strong critical thinking when leadership is not present.
**Requirements:**
• LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed psychologist (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of direct clinical care experience
• Expertise in crisis assessment and safety planning
• Knowledge of crisis support, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused clinical interventions
• Fully engaged and free from interruptions for the duration of shift
• Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
• Tech-savvy: comfortable using various computer platforms and learning new systems
• Ability to multitask and context switch
• Motivated to provide high-touch member experience
