As a Client Services Associate, you will serve as a vital point of contact for prospective and existing investors, supporting their journey from initial interest through investment and ongoing engagement. You'll respond to investor inquiries via email, phone, webinars, and events, providing timely and accurate support using approved resources and internal playbooks. Your responsibilities include helping individuals navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings, processes, and community experience while building strong relationships with investors, community members, and internal stakeholders.
You will deliver a high-touch, service-oriented customer experience across the entire investor lifecycle, anticipating needs and resolving questions with professionalism and empathy. You'll support investor onboarding and engagement efforts while collaborating closely with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and senior leaders on fundraising initiatives, fund operations, club programs, and syndication activities. Additional responsibilities include assisting with virtual events, investor meetings, and operational processes that support the broader venture capital ecosystem.
This role offers hands-on exposure to venture capital, startup investing, investor relations, and fund operations. While prior VC experience is not required, successful candidates are typically interested in investing, entrepreneurship, startups, financial markets, or business strategy. You'll receive direct mentorship from senior leadership and develop expertise in communication, relationship management, project management, operations, and venture investing. The company operates a 5-day-a-week in-office culture emphasizing collaboration, mentorship, and shared momentum.
