Scalable Capital, a leading digital investment and banking platform in Europe, is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their Tier 1 support team in Berlin, focusing on Broker Tax & Trading.
In this role, you will:
- Answer customer inquiries via phone and email regarding active trading, portfolio management, and tax questions
- Handle requests independently and find solutions that satisfy customers, coordinating with other departments or escalating to Tier 2 support as needed
- Identify service improvement opportunities and proactively contribute to continuous service enhancement
- Develop expertise in new topics and deepen your knowledge of the company's products
You will work with a modern tech stack and collaborate with an international, diverse, and growing team. The company offers a central office in Berlin with flexible shift scheduling (Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm). This is an initial one-year fixed-term contract with the option to extend.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Customer service experience with ideally at least one year in banking, fintech, finance, or insurance (career changers with strong learning motivation welcome)
- Passion for capital markets and willingness to develop deep expertise in: Trading & Savings Plans (understanding securities trading and savings plan mechanics), Security Transfers (interest in administrative processing of portfolio transfers), and Taxes & Corporate Actions (German capital gains tax, withholding tax, and corporate action processing)
- Customer-oriented, team-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail on complex inquiries
- Positive communication, solution-oriented thinking, and composure under stress
- German language proficiency at C1 level minimum and English at B2 level minimum (written and spoken)
