Scalable Capital, a leading digital investment and banking platform in Europe, is seeking a Client Service Associate to join their Tier 1 support team in Munich, focusing on Broker Tax & Trading. You will handle customer inquiries related to active trading, portfolio management, and tax matters via phone and email. Your responsibilities include independently resolving customer requests, identifying service improvement opportunities, and escalating complex issues to Tier 2 support or other departments as needed. You will continuously develop expertise in capital markets, trading, savings plans, security transfers, and German tax regulations (capital gains tax, withholding tax, and corporate actions).
This is a fixed-term position for one year with the possibility of extension. The role operates on a shift model Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm. REQUIREMENTS:
- Customer service experience with ideally at least one year in banking, fintech, finance, or insurance (career changers with high learning motivation welcome)
- Strong interest in capital markets and willingness to develop deep expertise in: trading & savings plans, security transfers, taxes & corporate actions
- Customer-oriented, team-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work methodically on complex inquiries
- Positive communication, solution-oriented thinking, and composure under stress
- German language proficiency: C1 minimum (written and spoken)
- English language proficiency: B2 minimum (written and spoken)
