Connecteam is the leading platform for managing deskless teams, trusted by over 80,000 businesses worldwide. The company brings daily operations and team communication into one intuitive app—from hiring and scheduling to training, tasks, and day-to-day coordination. Backed by $220M+ in funding from Insight Partners, Stripes, and Tiger Global, Connecteam is rapidly expanding globally. The Client Onboarding Manager guides new customers acquired through partnerships through the implementation of Connecteam, from initial handoff through successful payroll launch. This is a customer-facing, hands-on implementation role combining project management, system configuration, payroll-process understanding, customer training, and cross-functional coordination. Key responsibilities include owning the customer onboarding process by managing a book of partnership-sourced customers from handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization. You will build implementation plans around first clock-in dates, payroll periods, training requirements, and payroll-processing deadlines. You'll lead kickoff, setup, training, and client payroll processes while maintaining clear timelines, responsibilities, next steps, risks, and customer communication throughout each project. You will lead discovery and solution design by understanding customer workflows, translating business requirements into practical Connecteam setups, and identifying complex requirements to suit the right solution. You'll configure relevant Connecteam account settings and manage integrations. Training and stakeholder management are critical—you'll train clients on the Connecteam platform and integration process, train managers on time tracking and payroll workflows, and adapt training plans to customer size, structure, and complexity. You'll troubleshoot issues across the full workflow, determine issue ownership and route appropriately, escalate payroll-impacting risks with clear documentation, and maintain accurate account records, architecture decisions, risks, next steps, and handoff documentation. Success requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, tech-savviness, and strong organizational skills. The role demands perceptiveness, ability to read people and situations quickly, and skill at navigating complex interpersonal dynamics while maintaining trust across multiple internal and external teams.
