Connecteam is a leading platform for managing deskless teams, trusted by over 80,000 businesses worldwide. The company provides an intuitive app that consolidates daily operations and team communication—from hiring and scheduling to training, tasks, and coordination—for frontline workers across stores and sites. As Client Onboarding Manager, you will guide new customers acquired through partnerships through the complete implementation of Connecteam, from initial handoff through successful payroll launch. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines project management, system configuration, payroll-process expertise, customer training, and cross-functional coordination. You will own a book of business of partnership-sourced customers, managing each implementation from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization. You'll build implementation plans around the customer's first clock-in date, payroll schedule, and go-live timeline. Depending on account size and complexity, you may support customers through their first one to three payroll cycles. Key responsibilities include: owning the end-to-end customer onboarding process; leading discovery and solution design to translate business requirements into practical Connecteam setups; configuring integrations and account settings; delivering training to clients and managers on the platform and payroll workflows; and troubleshooting issues while escalating payroll-impacting risks with clear documentation. Success requires strong project management skills to juggle multiple simultaneous implementations, excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences, and the interpersonal acumen to navigate complex dynamics across customers, partners, and internal teams. You'll work closely with partner Implementation Managers, Sales, Support, Product, and Integrations teams. Required: 2+ years in implementation, onboarding, or customer-facing SaaS roles with SMB and mid-market clients. You should be tech-savvy, able to quickly learn software and troubleshoot issues, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
