Connecteam is a leading platform for managing deskless teams, trusted by over 80,000 businesses worldwide. The company provides an intuitive app that consolidates daily operations and team communication—from hiring and scheduling to training, tasks, and coordination—for frontline workers. Backed by $220M+ in funding from Insight Partners, Stripes, and Tiger Global, Connecteam is rapidly expanding globally. The Client Onboarding Manager guides new customers acquired through partnerships through the implementation of Connecteam, from initial handoff through successful payroll launch. This is a customer-facing, hands-on implementation role that combines project management, system configuration, payroll-process understanding, customer training, and cross-functional coordination. Key responsibilities include owning the customer onboarding process by managing a portfolio of partnership-sourced customers from internal handoff through go-live and initial payroll stabilization. You will build implementation plans around the customer's first clock-in date, payroll periods, training requirements, and payroll-processing deadlines. You'll lead kickoff meetings, setup, training, and client payroll configuration while maintaining clear timelines, responsibilities, next steps, and risks throughout each project. You will lead discovery and solution design by understanding customer workflows, translating business requirements into practical Connecteam setups, and identifying complex requirements to match with appropriate solutions. Configuration responsibilities include setting up Connecteam account settings and managing integrations. You'll deliver training to clients on the Connecteam platform and integration process, train managers on time tracking and payroll workflows, and adapt training plans to customer size, structure, and complexity. You will troubleshoot issues across the full workflow, determine issue ownership, route appropriately, escalate payroll-impacting risks with clear documentation, and maintain accurate account records, architecture decisions, and handoff documentation. Success requires strong project management skills to handle multiple customer implementations simultaneously, excellent communication and presentation abilities to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences, and tech-savviness to quickly learn software, troubleshoot issues, and understand integrations and data flows.
