Qover is a leading insurtech scale-up that has raised $70 million and operates a platform protecting millions of users across 32 European countries. The company works with top brands like Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Canyon, and Monzo to orchestrate digital embedded insurance experiences. You will join the Claims team as a Claims Officer, managing the full lifecycle of insurance claims from initial notification through settlement. Your day-to-day responsibilities include processing claims from A to Z, handling First Notification of Loss and partner validation processes, investigating claims to determine validity, assessing coverage against policy conditions, managing written and phone correspondence with claimants, calculating settlements and processing payments, and maintaining accurate records of all claims and outcomes. Beyond day-to-day claims handling, you will contribute to continuous improvement of the claims process by identifying bottlenecks and implementing new processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Qover offers a flexible work environment with up to three days remote per week and the ability to work from anywhere for one month per year. The team is based in Brussels at a dedicated WeWork space (Rue du Commerce 31) with a large terrace for team events. REQUIREMENTS: - 1 to 5 years of experience in claims handling in an insurance company, MGA, broker, or third-party administrator - Fluent English; any other European language is a plus - Sound working knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack) and ability to learn new systems quickly - Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize a varied workload - Tech affinity is a plus - Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities - Strong initiative-taking and stakeholder management skills - Good written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated, open-minded, curious, and flexible with a "can-do" mentality
