Neko Health is seeking a Chemistry Technical Supervisor to lead the setup and ongoing operation of its on-site clinical laboratory in New York. This is a two-phase role: first, you will build and validate the lab from the ground up, then transition into running it as the on-site technical owner and people leader. In the first 6–12 months, you will lead laboratory setup and go-live readiness, taking the lab from empty space to compliant patient testing under CLIA, CMS, and New York State regulations. You'll complete full instrument and assay validation on Abbott Alinity platforms, documenting accuracy, precision, reportable range, reference intervals, and analytical performance with inspection-ready documentation. You'll establish SOPs, workflows, and validation practices that are safe, efficient, and repeatable. You'll keep the lab inspection-ready at all times and manage the transition from setup mode to stable day-to-day operations. You'll manage and develop the Laboratory Technologist team through 1:1s, performance feedback, technical coaching, and mentorship. You'll serve as the on-site escalation point for any technical, operational, or quality issue affecting laboratory testing and build a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in high-complexity clinical laboratory environments, a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field, and an active New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license. You have hands-on experience with automated chemistry and immunoassay platforms, demonstrated expertise in laboratory validation and CLIA requirements, and ideally prior ownership of lab setup or go-live activities. You understand validation deeply—not as paperwork but as a core practice—and operate in a way that keeps the lab inspection-ready by default. You're a builder who takes pride in both launch and steady-state performance, and you develop the team you rely on.
