You will join the Partner Solutions Specialists team—composed entirely of former accountants—as a Functional Project Manager (PSS Front). This role bridges accounting expertise, project management, and client relationships. You work in tandem with a PSS Back (technical architect) who handles integration; you are the client-facing expert who frames requirements, reassures stakeholders, and drives projects forward.
Key responsibilities include:
**Needs Analysis & Audit**: Plan and facilitate migration kickoffs, briefings, and retrospectives with accounting firms. Analyze functional requirements from field feedback and prior migrations. Write documentation and user stories for internal teams. Run workshops and webinars on both domain-specific and cross-functional topics.
**Migration Project Management**: Ensure migrations follow clear, documented paths for all stakeholders. Adapt approaches while respecting existing processes for inter-team collaboration. Communicate alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Relay information to the PSS Back team on integration, debugging, and validation.
**Configuration & Testing**: Contribute to Pennylane configuration to match client accounting processes. Participate in functional testing to validate solutions meet requirements before go-live.
**Post-Migration Support**: Collaborate with PSS Back on debugging and issue resolution. Conduct intermediate and final functional tests. Contribute to post-migration reports and improvement recommendations.
**Process Optimization**: Identify and prioritize automation and optimization opportunities. Implement via documentation, feedback, and concrete proposals. Track satisfaction post-deployment.
**Continuous Improvement**: Monitor product and accounting domain trends. Propose enhancements, flag gaps or bugs. Transform needs into actionable solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
**Front/Back Collaboration**: Understand PSS Back priorities and provide ad-hoc production support as needed.
Required: Accounting qualification (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or Master CCA). Prior experience in an accounting firm, ideally with one or more migrations completed. Strong verbal and written communication with accountants. Customer-focused mindset with ability to build lasting trust. Autonomous yet collaborative, adaptable to rapid product evolution. Commitment to continuous learning. Minimum A2 English.
