You will join the Partner Solutions Specialists team—composed entirely of former accountants—as a Functional Project Manager (PSS Front). This role bridges accounting expertise, project management, and client relationships. You work in tandem with a PSS Back (technical architect) who handles integration; you are the client-facing expert who frames requirements, reassures stakeholders, and drives migration projects forward.
Key responsibilities include:
• Functional Audit & Analysis: Plan and lead client meetings from kickoff through retrospectives. Analyze business needs from field feedback and past migrations. Document requirements and user stories. Facilitate workshops and webinars on accounting workflows and cross-functional topics.
• Migration Project Management: Ensure migrations follow clear, documented processes for all stakeholders. Adapt approaches while maintaining process integrity. Communicate alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Relay information to the PSS Back team on integration, debugging, and controls.
• Configuration & Testing: Contribute to Pennylane configuration to match client accounting processes. Participate in functional testing to validate solutions meet requirements before go-live.
• Post-Migration Support: Collaborate on debugging and resolving accounting-specific issues. Conduct intermediate and final functional tests. Contribute to post-migration reports and improvement recommendations.
• Process Optimization: Identify and prioritize automation and optimization opportunities. Implement via documentation, feedback, and concrete proposals. Track satisfaction post-deployment.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor product and accounting trends. Propose enhancements, flag gaps or issues. Transform needs into actionable solutions for internal and external teams.
• Front/Back Collaboration: Understand PSS Back priorities and occasionally support production work as needed.
Required qualifications: Accounting degree (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA or equivalent). Experience in an accounting firm, ideally with prior migration projects. Strong verbal and written communication with accountants. Customer-focused mindset with ability to build lasting trust. Autonomous and collaborative; adaptable to rapid product changes. Commitment to continuous learning. Minimum A2 English.
