You will join the Partner Solutions Specialists team—composed entirely of former accountants—as a Functional Project Manager (PSS Front). You are the expert interface between Pennylane and accounting firms during data migration projects, working in tandem with a technical PSS Back colleague who handles integration and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
**Needs Analysis & Audit**: Plan and facilitate migration kickoffs, briefings, and retrospectives with accounting firms. Analyze functional requirements from field feedback and prior migrations. Document user stories and conduct workshops/webinars on business processes and cross-functional topics.
**Migration Project Management**: Ensure migrations follow clear, documented paths for all stakeholders. Adapt approaches while maintaining process integrity. Communicate alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Relay information to the PSS Back team on integration, debugging, and validation.
**Configuration & Testing**: Contribute to Pennylane configuration to match existing accounting firm workflows. Participate in functional testing to validate solutions meet requirements before go-live.
**Post-Migration Support**: Collaborate on debugging and resolving business issues post-migration. Conduct intermediate and final functional tests. Contribute to post-migration reports and improvement recommendations.
**Process Optimization**: Identify and prioritize automation and optimization opportunities. Implement via documentation, feedback, and concrete proposals. Track satisfaction post-deployment.
**Continuous Improvement**: Monitor product and accounting industry trends. Propose enhancements, flag gaps or issues. Transform needs into actionable solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**: Understand PSS Back priorities and provide production support as needed.
Required: Accounting qualification (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA). Hands-on experience in an accounting firm, ideally with prior migration projects. Strong oral and written communication with accountants. Customer-focused mindset with ability to build trust. Autonomous and collaborative, adaptable to rapid product evolution. Continuous learner. Minimum A2 English.
