You will join the Partner Solutions Specialists team—composed entirely of former accountants—as a Functional Project Manager (PSS Front). You are the subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for accounting firms during their data migration to Pennylane, working in tandem with a PSS Back (technical architect) who handles integration and technical aspects.
Your responsibilities span the full migration lifecycle:
**Needs Analysis & Audit**: Plan and facilitate meetings from project kickoff through retrospectives. Analyze functional requirements from field feedback and prior migrations. Document user stories and conduct workshops/webinars on business processes.
**Migration Project Management**: Ensure migrations follow clear, documented processes for all stakeholders. Adapt approaches while maintaining collaboration standards. Communicate alignment between technical solutions and business needs. Serve as the information relay to the PSS Back team.
**Configuration & Testing**: Contribute to Pennylane configuration to match firms' existing processes. Participate in functional testing to validate requirements pre-migration.
**Post-Migration Support**: Collaborate on debugging and issue resolution. Conduct intermediate and final functional tests. Contribute to post-migration reports and improvement recommendations.
**Process Optimization**: Identify and prioritize automation and optimization opportunities. Implement improvements through documentation and concrete proposals. Track satisfaction post-deployment.
**Continuous Improvement**: Monitor product and accounting industry developments. Propose enhancements and flag gaps. Transform needs into actionable solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**: Understand PSS Back priorities and provide production support as needed.
Required: Accounting background (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, or Master CCA). Experience in an accounting firm, ideally with prior migration projects. Strong verbal and written communication with accountants. Customer-service orientation and relationship-building skills. Ability to work autonomously and in teams with flexibility for rapid product changes. Continuous learning mindset. Minimum A2 English.
Preferred: Startup environment experience, B1+ English, strong synthesis and teaching ability, proactivity and autonomy.
