Salary: USD 80,000 - 115,000 / annual
Veo is a leading shared micromobility provider operating bikes and scooters across 60+ North American cities. As Central Facilities Manager, you will oversee facility operations across 40+ warehouse and operational locations nationwide, reporting from the Santa Monica headquarters (4 days/week in-office, ~6 trips/year to sites).
Key responsibilities include: managing site selection and facility buildouts; coordinating with landlords, property managers, and vendors on maintenance, lease compliance, and operational support; developing and implementing proactive maintenance programs to reduce downtime; sourcing, vetting, and negotiating contracts with repair and maintenance vendors; tracking facility budgets (rent, utilities, repairs, capital improvements); standardizing operations processes across all locations; ensuring OSHA and safety compliance; identifying and securing new warehouse sites; and monitoring facility performance metrics with regular reporting.
You will serve as the primary liaison between corporate and 40+ distributed sites, resolving on-site issues, coordinating work orders, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The role requires strong project management in a fast-paced environment, vendor and contractor oversight, familiarity with building systems (HVAC, MEP), and experience with facilities management software.
Required: 5+ years in facilities operations or property management, ideally in multi-site industrial/distribution/logistics environments. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Google Workspace and project tracking tools preferred. Willingness to travel regularly.
