Salary: USD 50,000 - 65,000 / annual
Ferry is an AI-powered healthcare navigation platform that helps patients find and book care through an SMS-based concierge service. Leading hospitals, insurers, and digital health companies use Ferry to solve patient access and scheduling challenges.
As a Case Manager, you will be a core member of a small, high-growth team supporting patients through their healthcare journeys. You'll combine empathetic patient care with operational excellence, directly shaping Ferry's workflows and product development.
Key responsibilities:
- Guide patients through care workflows with empathy and efficiency
- Manage appointment scheduling, provider communication, insurance verifications, and patient follow-ups
- Use internal and external tools (CRMs, databases, scheduling platforms) to track patient progress and case statuses
- Communicate with patients, practices, and providers via SMS, phone, and email to deliver warm, supportive experiences
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and patient experience
- Create internal training materials and documentation as workflows evolve
- Mentor and onboard new team members as the company scales
- Work flexibly and calmly in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift quickly

Requirements:
- 2–3+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare navigation, project coordination, or similar roles
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable on phone and email
- Ability to learn new software tools quickly and provide constructive feedback (CRM or patient platform experience is a bonus)
- Capable of working independently and prioritizing across multiple tasks and timelines
- Skilled at creating documentation and sharing knowledge with others
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to rapidly changing workflows
- Bonus: startup or early-stage environment experience
