Salary: USD 70,000 - 123,000 / annual
Ethos Life is a life insurance technology company transforming how life insurance is bought, sold, and underwritten. This role is a Case Manager for Annuities, supporting a book of 2–3 agents by owning the entire post-proposal, pre-funding journey for high-value annuity cases (typically $250K+).
You will manage cases from the agent's proposal call through application submission, underwriting, approval, and funding. Key responsibilities include: triggering and completing OFAC/AML compliance checks before data entry; collecting and organizing client documentation (driver's licenses, funding source details, rollover paperwork); accurately entering case information into carrier portals and Salesforce; submitting applications and tracking them through underwriting; proactively resolving outstanding requirements with carriers; coordinating post-approval funding logistics (EFT, check, wire, 401(k) rollover); and providing clear status updates to agents and clients at every stage.
This is a non-licensed, non-sales administrative role. You will not discuss product features, risks, benefits, or make carrier recommendations. If you join client calls, you will disclose that you are unlicensed and not part of the sales process.
Required qualifications: background in case management, transaction coordination, new-business processing, or similar (insurance/annuity case management, mortgage loan processing, or real estate transaction coordination all translate well); comfort operating within compliance boundaries; proficiency with Salesforce and ability to learn multiple carrier-specific systems; strong process management and attention to detail; capacity to manage multiple concurrent cases; and US-based location (remote-eligible).
This is a full-time position with a US national base salary range of $70,000–$123,000, determined by role, level, and location. Compensation includes base salary only; bonus and equity details are available on the careers page.
