Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops AI-powered systems and cutting-edge autonomy, computer vision, and sensor fusion technology for military applications.
You will support mechanical design and configuration management efforts, maintaining the accuracy and release-readiness of complex engineering data. Working day-to-day with design engineering, performance engineering, and sourcing teams, you will ensure design intent is captured correctly and new components reach production on schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining complex assemblies and their derivative configurations
- Conducting interference studies prior to assembly release
- Updating drawings based on direction from design and performance engineers
- Placing new components into assemblies
- Updating engineering Bill of Materials based on configuration management board decisions
- Coordinating with sourcing, design engineering, and configuration management on component and assembly cut-in dates
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with CAD in Siemens NX
- Experience working in Siemens Teamcenter
- Proficiency in mechanical drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Good mechanical intuition and excellent understanding of how components interact in larger mechanical systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- U.S. Person status required (position requires access to export-controlled data)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in aerospace industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field
- Experience in mechanical design of components from early conceptual phase into production
- Detailed assembly stackup development experience
- Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environment
