Salary: USD 98,000 - 130,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Buyer to join the Indirect Procurement team supporting R&D and soft services procurement. The role focuses on managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, and ensuring on-time delivery of critical materials and services for key defense programs.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs; maintaining supplier relationships and monitoring performance across quality, delivery, and pricing; quickly resolving supply chain disruptions and delivery delays; monitoring and expediting orders to meet deadlines; partnering with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Facilities) and program teams to align procurement with company goals; and maintaining accurate records while tracking procurement KPIs to identify process improvements.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field with 2+ years of supply chain experience including technical procurement. Required skills include the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Preferred qualifications include strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
