Loft Orbital is scaling satellite and flight hardware production and is seeking a Buyer to join the team in a critical sourcing and procurement role. You will work across engineering teams to source and procure materials, parts, and equipment essential to meeting production and launch goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of components that support Loft's rapid growth phase. You'll work in a fast-paced, international, deadline-driven environment where attention to detail and organizational excellence are essential.
As an early-stage hire, you will initially serve as a versatile operator, filling operational gaps across procurement functions that the company will eventually expand into dedicated roles. This is an opportunity to shape procurement processes and systems from the ground up while contributing directly to the success of cutting-edge aerospace hardware development.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable thriving in dynamic, fast-moving environments. You should have experience in sourcing and procurement, ideally within manufacturing, aerospace, or hardware-intensive industries. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working across international suppliers are key.
