Serval is hiring its first Business Systems Lead to architect and optimize the revenue technology stack for a fast-growing AI automation platform. You'll own the end-to-end architecture, integration, and automation of core selling systems including Salesforce, CPQ, data enrichment, engagement tooling, and sales infrastructure.
This is a hands-on builder role with strategic scope. You'll design and ship system integrations, architect scalable Salesforce orgs, and aggressively automate manual workflows across sales, marketing, and deployment. You'll ensure data flows reliably across systems to power reporting and forecasting, evaluate and pilot new tools with clear build-vs-buy judgment, and enforce data governance and security standards.
You'll partner closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance leadership to translate business needs into technical requirements. The role requires 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in business systems, revenue operations, sales operations, solutions engineering, or technical/data engineering applied to GTM systems. Direct ownership of a Salesforce org at admin or architect level is required.
You must be fluent in SQL and modern data warehouse/BI stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hex). Experience with CPQ tools, call intelligence platforms (Gong), sales engagement (Outreach, Apollo), and marketing automation is a plus. You'll design and ship integrations between systems, not just configure point solutions. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Salesforce Flow, Apex, iPaaS platforms like Workato or Tray.io, or API scripting) is essential, as is real experience applying AI to operational workflows—building with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-native automation tools.
Strong systems thinking is critical: you zoom out to design architecture and zoom in to debug field mappings in the same day. Excellent cross-functional communication, prior experience at fast-growing B2B SaaS, and management or informal team-lead experience are strongly preferred. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and strategic business impact, ideal for someone who wants to reimagine the GTM tech stack in an AI-native world.
