Salary: USD 130,000 - 165,000 / annual
Skydio, the leading US autonomous drone company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to define, implement, and drive solutions across sales, hardware operations, and finance functions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to formulate system designs, distill business requirements into technical specifications, and lead implementation projects for mission-critical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Hardware Operations, Finance, and Sales teams to define business processes and system requirements
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for design, configuration, customization, and development
- Define, design, test, and implement business solutions using standard, custom-built, and third-party systems
- Lead system implementation projects and deliver key artifacts including requirements documentation, system configuration, user acceptance testing, and issue resolution
- Support mission-critical and business-critical systems
- Influence diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership
The role is based in San Mateo, CA with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week in office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent field
- 3+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP
- Experience with any ERP or domain understanding of Finance, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and other data analysis tools
- 2-3 years of experience with JavaScript, SQL, or other scripting languages
- Ability to write PL/SQL queries and create dynamic reports and searches
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Understanding of consumer electronics hardware product lifecycle (preferred but not required)
- Strategic and tactical skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and pick up new skills
- Self-starter and proactive personality with proven track record of delivery
- Ability to work in San Mateo HQ 2-3 times per week
