LangChain is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to own the Salesforce-centered GTM systems that power the company's go-to-market operations. You'll be accountable for defining requirements, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring quality for high-leverage revenue systems programs—turning ambiguous business needs into shipped process and systems changes that scale.
You'll own the Salesforce sales process from lead to close, including routing, qualification, territory assignment, and stage progression. You'll manage intake and prioritization for hundreds of quarterly GTM systems requests, ensuring the team focuses on highest-leverage business problems. Your role is to run discovery, translate ambiguous asks into detailed BRDs, process flows, data models, and acceptance criteria, then hold the quality gate as engineers and AI coding agents build against your specifications.
Key responsibilities include protecting revenue data integrity by tracing anomalies in Net ARR, pipeline, and lead source back to their root causes; owning reconciliation between Salesforce, usage-based billing, and cloud-marketplace transactions; and identifying load-bearing design decisions before they cause downstream failures.
This is not a ticket-queue role. You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Support, and Finance in a fast-changing environment where influence matters more than reporting lines. You won't write production code but will write clear specifications that engineers and AI agents can build from, then review output with sufficient Salesforce and systems judgment to validate correctness.
Success in the first 6–12 months includes redesigning the lead-to-opportunity process for measurability and adoption, creating a prioritization model for GTM systems requests with clear tradeoffs, shipping Salesforce changes that improve pipeline hygiene or quote-to-cash accuracy, and establishing specification and UAT standards that teams can reliably build against.
Location is San Francisco Bay Area with in-office presence 4 days per week, as the revenue teams and engineers you'll partner with are co-located.
