Anthropic is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join its BizTech team in London. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and architectural decisions that enable engineering teams to build scalable systems supporting rapid organizational growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive end-to-end delivery of technical projects from conception through launch
- Configure and customize business systems (user permissions, workflows, integrations) to meet organizational needs
- Manage technical vendor evaluation, including contract negotiations, SLAs, and performance assessment
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation (process flows, user guides, technical specs)
- Lead knowledge management initiatives to capture and organize institutional knowledge
- Own technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Analyze business processes and identify automation and optimization opportunities
- Act as liaison between technical teams and business users, translating complex concepts into user-friendly language
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing for implementations and updates
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users across the organization
- Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify improvement areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform integration
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
You should have 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role in a technology-focused environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in systems configuration, requirements gathering, and documentation. You excel at vendor relationship management, communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Desirable qualifications include experience with enterprise business systems, database management and SQL, project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum), relevant certifications, business intelligence tools, high-growth startup environments, ITIL frameworks, and knowledge management systems implementation.
