Salary: PLN 28,000 - 31,100 / monthly
Revolut is seeking a Business Risk Manager to manage the risk and control environment for the Core Payments team. This role sits at the intersection of Risk, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance, with responsibility for identifying, assessing, and proactively managing business and operational risks across payment flows and strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Core Payments leadership to develop and embed a proactive risk culture; performing risk assessments for new products, payment flows, operational processes, and strategic initiatives; designing and implementing risk controls, governance frameworks, and monitoring processes; investigating incidents and implementing sustainable solutions; challenging existing processes to identify control gaps; collaborating cross-functionally to ensure risks are understood and managed; developing risk metrics and dashboards for leadership visibility; and supporting strategic projects involving payment schemes, banking partners, central banks, and clearing systems.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in business risk management, operational risk, enterprise risk, or similar roles within financial services, fintech, or banking. Required skills include strong problem-solving and critical thinking, proactive risk identification and prevention, demonstrated ownership and independent decision-making in fast-paced environments, excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional influence, and expertise in designing and improving risk frameworks and governance processes.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in payments, banking operations, or financial infrastructure; knowledge of payment schemes (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ACH); experience in high-growth fintech or technology-driven environments; and familiarity with payment processing, clearing, or settlement operations.
