You will join the Business Operations team as a builder-operator, working directly with the Head of Finance & Operations and cross-functional leaders in Finance, Legal, People, and GTM. This is a hands-on role that spans tools, process design, data analysis, and strategic problem-solving.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to identify and prioritize operational challenges, then design and ship solutions
- Build tools, integrations, and automation that convert one-off work into scalable, reusable workflows (e.g., ROI calculators, pricing helpers, CPQ flows, FP&A dashboards)
- Map and continuously improve data flows across business systems (ERP, CPQ, CLM, FP&A)
- Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows for contracting support, deal desk triage, and data validation
- Develop solution-grade analytics ranging from Excel models to durable dashboards and data pipelines
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (SOPs, data flow diagrams, system configs) ensuring auditability and repeatability
This is not a project management or checkbox role. You will own ambiguous problems end-to-end, build scalable processes, and take on substantive work across business operations to help shape Stedi's future.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in integration engineering, consulting, finance, business operations, or similar roles in fast-paced environments
- Technical and hands-on: understand APIs and data models, work comfortably in modern business systems, and can ship spreadsheets, scripts, automations, and lightweight applications
- Analytical mindset: fluent in unit economics, margin mechanics, resource constraints, and capable of building models that withstand scrutiny
- Systems thinker: design workflows and data models that scale, are observable, and fail gracefully
- Comfortable with ambiguity: create structure from chaos and independently design scalable processes from scratch
- High throughput and bias to action: low ego, strong follow-through, and ability to close loops
- Clear communicator: confident in writing and conversation with senior leaders
- Judgment and trajectory matter more than perfect experience match; candidates are encouraged to apply even if background doesn't perfectly align
