Salary: USD 150,000 - 210,000 / annual

As a Business Operations Manager/Senior Manager, you will be a senior individual contributor on a small, high-leverage team tackling Zip's most critical business challenges. This role offers significant ownership and visibility, working directly with senior leadership to drive measurable impact across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading "zero-to-one" strategic initiatives, translating ambiguous goals into actionable plans with measurable outcomes
- Owning projects end-to-end from scoping and analysis through execution and implementation
- Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and G&A teams to deliver operational improvements and inform strategic decisions
- Building scalable processes and systems, improving existing workflows for efficiency and growth
- Analyzing business performance, developing robust financial and operational models, and synthesizing insights into clear recommendations for leadership
- Defining success metrics, tracking performance, and ensuring accountability across key initiatives
The role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership of outcomes, and can drive complex projects with limited guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or business operations at a high-growth startup
- 4-year undergraduate degree (preferably in a quantitative or analytical field such as Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related)
- Proven ability to independently problem-solve and drive complex projects under ambiguity
- Strong analytical skills, including experience working with complex business data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across levels and functions
- Demonstrated ability to create and operationalize new processes, systems, or programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Based in SF or willing to relocate
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Familiarity with internal AI tooling such as Claude Cowork
- Prior exposure to both Product and GTM organizations
- MBA or advanced degree (not required)
