OpenFX is building infrastructure to enable cross-border payments at scale, moving money as freely as data across time zones and legacy banking systems. As Business Operations Manager, you will serve as a critical cross-functional operator, managing multiple operational domains simultaneously and building the foundation for specialized teams as the company scales. This is a high-impact role spanning trade operations, finance, legal, partnerships, revenue operations, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
**Partnership Operations**: Manage relationships with liquidity and banking partners, drive partner onboarding and retention (targeting 3 banking partners per currency), and develop partner performance metrics.
**Revenue Operations**: Monitor client wallet share and transaction volumes, implement strategies to improve CAC and LTV, and support upsell/cross-sell initiatives to increase ARPU.
**Finance & Accounting Support**: Support daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes, streamline workflows, develop real-time financial reporting dashboards, and provide operational insights for cash flow management.
**Legal & Regulatory Operations**: Assist with licensing applications across jurisdictions, optimize client onboarding and KYB (targeting 90% automation), increase compliance automation, and oversee regulatory report submissions.
**Trade Operations**: Execute and optimize daily FX settlements (targeting 100% automation by Q4 2025), manage EOD reconciliations with zero-error targets, maintain 95%+ working capital utilization, and implement risk management protocols for 99.9% uptime.
**Business Operations**: Translate strategy into actionable plans and KPIs, identify process improvements, conduct market research and competitive analysis, and support investor relations.
You will need 5+ years of operations experience, preferably in fintech, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management capability, proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling, and experience with automation and process optimization. Background in regulatory compliance, FX markets, cross-border transactions, and high-growth startups is highly valued.
