Anduril Industries is seeking a Business Operations Lead for Technical Projects to drive cross-functional operational initiatives across the defense technology company. This is a builder-operator role combining operational rigor, technical curiosity, and strategic thinking to solve high-leverage, ambiguous problems that span hardware development, supply chain, manufacturing, field operations, and product. You will own initiatives from problem framing through execution, operating across both hardware and software domains. Key responsibilities include: owning and delivering zero-to-one cross-functional projects; working across supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, field operations, finance, HR, and recruiting; developing deep expertise in Anduril's business systems (ERP, MRP, MES) to understand data and process flows; creating analytics and tooling from ad hoc Excel analysis to scalable data pipelines and dashboards; project managing across teams and directing stakeholders toward solutions; and partnering with senior leaders on highest-priority operational challenges. Required qualifications: 3+ years in consulting, business operations, strategy, or technical/engineering roles; data-driven mindset with systems thinking and ability to communicate with engineering and product teams; strategic capability to define frameworks and build business cases; builder mentality preferring designed solutions over patches; self-driven and proactive with bias toward action; comfort with ambiguity and complex problem-solving; clear communication across technical and non-technical contexts; U.S. Person status for access to export-controlled information. Preferred: experience with technical systems in hardware/software environments (data warehouses, analytics, manufacturing systems); exposure to classified or regulated workflows; background in cross-functional, fast-paced environments without established playbooks. Exemplar projects have included accelerating hardware development cycles, scaling sustainment operations, and enabling customer-facing analytical workflows. This role is not traditional operations—it attracts those with engineering, PM, consulting, or founder backgrounds who thrive in ambiguity and care deeply about outcomes.
