Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems, AI, and computer vision. The Air Dominance & Strike Division develops next-generation Collaborative Combat Aircraft (Fury), missiles (RoadRunner, Barracuda), and Mission Autonomy software.
As a Business Operations Engineer, you'll join a small, high-impact operations team enabling the division to scale through hyper-growth. You'll build end-to-end operational software solutions that leverage data and AI to accelerate product development, manufacturing, and field deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Embed with flight test, engineering, production, and field operations teams to identify critical workflows, bottlenecks, and data opportunities
- Develop test data infrastructure ensuring products reach engineers across varied system configurations and deployed environments
- Architect and build fleet management systems monitoring operational performance and reliability of aircraft in the field
- Design tools and metrics enabling production scale from single units to thousands, with rapid new product introduction
- Create operational applications in a scrappy but effective manner, iterating closely with end users
- Build systems and infrastructure allowing applications to mature, roll out, and scale
- Collaborate with Anduril's corporate Analytics team to expand data ontologies and generalize solutions company-wide
You bring 2+ years in technical operating roles working on user-facing processes and applications. You have engineering fundamentals (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar), coding experience (Python, SQL, React, TypeScript), and exposure to data systems (dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Palantir Foundry). You're intellectually curious about the intersection of analytics and hardware, energized by business impact, and motivated by Anduril's mission to advance U.S. defense capabilities. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
