Turnitin is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst / Analytics Engineer to bridge complex data infrastructure and actionable business strategy. You will provide day-to-day support to Revenue Operations (RevOps), including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience leaders.
The company is in an exciting transition, migrating data workflows from Alteryx to dbt. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering and business analysis—not just building dashboards, but architecting robust data models in Redshift, orchestrating workflows via Dagster/Airflow, and translating technical outputs into business impact for stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the migration of legacy workflows from Alteryx to dbt, ensuring high-quality, documented, and tested data models that serve as a single source of truth
- Managing and monitoring data pipelines using Dagster or Airflow to ensure reliability and performance within the Redshift warehouse
- Acting as the primary liaison between technical data structures and non-technical leaders, translating complex data concepts into clear insights that highlight ROI
- Actively exploring and implementing AI/LLM capabilities to enhance data discovery and predictive modeling, collaborating with Product/Engineering to apply Machine Learning (Amazon SageMaker) to areas like churn prediction and lead scoring
- Supporting high-impact RevOps initiatives such as Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Customer Health scoring by providing visibility into global KPIs via Tableau
You are a "Technical Translator" who can explain technical concepts to business leaders in ways that drive decisions. You are impact-focused, delivering not just data but the "so what?" You stay current with LLMs and generative AI applications in analytics. You lead with curiosity, take ownership, and take pride in clean, well-architected code.
Turnitin is a 25+ year-old global education technology company recognized as an innovator in learning integrity solutions.
