Stacks is an AI-native platform reinventing how modern finance teams run the monthly close. The founding team includes finance, product, and technical experts from Uber, Plaid, Miro, Mollie, and Bunq. You will join as one of the initial go-to-market hires in a Business Development Representative role based in the London office. This is a high-impact position collaborating closely with the Sales team to create and execute GTM strategy. Key responsibilities: - Own outbound prospecting into Mid-Market and Enterprise companies across the UK - Run multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn, writing and iterating constantly - Conduct sharp, insight-led discovery conversations with finance leaders, asking the right questions to uncover pain - Develop deep product mastery on the close process, speaking credibly about debits, credits, reconciliations, and the pain of extended close cycles - Partner cross-functionally with the Sales team to shape messaging and build repeatable outbound motion - Progress on a clear 8-12 month track to Account Executive This is positioned as a foundational role where you'll help shape a category-defining company from an early stage, working directly with founders and a small, high-agency team. You'll have meaningful ownership with competitive equity in a company scaling toward $10M ARR. Career progression options include Account Executive, Solutions Engineer, BD Lead, or Product roles. The company is office-first and based at Fora, a modern design-led space in central London with gym access and team culture built around regular socials and off-sites. REQUIREMENTS: - 1–3 years in a top-tier environment such as MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), VC, PE, or early-stage companies - Analytical horsepower: think in frameworks, get to the "so what" quickly, break down a prospect's business in a first call - Commercial instinct: motivated by tangible, measurable outcomes and revenue proximity - Hunger and grit: competitive, coachable, comfortable with cold calling - Clear communicator: concise, direct, and persuasive in writing, speech, and phone conversations
