AlphaSense is a market intelligence platform trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500. The company uses AI-driven search and analysis to help sophisticated organizations remove uncertainty from decision-making. Following the 2024 acquisition of Tegus, AlphaSense has expanded its content and product capabilities across equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, news, and trade journals.
The Business Analyst II will join a newly formed Content Strategy, Planning & Analysis team within the Content organization, which is responsible for identifying, creating, licensing, and integrating best-in-class structured and unstructured data. This is a horizontal function working across all content verticals—Research, Web Curation, Company Documents, and Structured Data—and reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, Planning & Analysis.
In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Revenue teams to support content strategy, ideation, integration, and ongoing optimization. You will conduct due diligence and comparative analysis of existing and prospective content sources and partnerships to build business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and proposals. You will address ad hoc data analysis requests covering usage, readership, and coverage across the AlphaSense platform, and investigate inquiries from internal and external stakeholders including clients and vendors.
Key responsibilities include building dashboards and reporting to support projects and programs in collaboration with Content and Business Intelligence teams; tracking and managing content requests in ProductBoard; monitoring industry trends and competitive intelligence to inform product and content strategy; performing gap analysis to identify process improvement opportunities; and collaborating with Content Leaders, BI Analytics, Finance, and other stakeholders on content usage trends and strategic inputs.
You will rapidly onboard to AlphaSense systems, processes, and tools, and develop the ability to manipulate data effectively to support decision-making across the organization.
