SoFi is a next-generation financial services company and national bank using mobile-first technology to help millions of members reach their financial goals. As a Branch Operations Supervisor in Sacramento, you'll be a key partner to the Branch Manager, leading day-to-day branch operations and supporting the teller team.
You'll serve as a go-to resource for the team and step in as branch lead when the Branch Manager is unavailable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service, takes ownership, brings positive energy, and is excited to grow as a leader.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily branch and teller operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong customer experience
- Providing coaching, direction, training, and support to tellers
- Overseeing branch operations in the Branch Manager's absence
- Delivering high-touch, white-glove customer service while processing transactions and account maintenance
- Managing teller balancing, cash ordering, vault operations, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and daily banking activities
- Researching and resolving transaction discrepancies and providing teller approvals
- Supporting teller scheduling, onboarding, and training
- Creating a positive, collaborative environment with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate bank products and services
- Ensuring branch activities comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications: 2+ years of banking or financial services experience preferred; 1+ year of leadership or team-lead experience preferred, or demonstrated leadership through coaching, training, and taking ownership. Punjabi bilingual proficiency is highly preferred; Spanish is also preferred. You'll need genuine passion for exceptional customer service, a positive and proactive mindset, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to coach and support others, and strong attention to detail. Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday and support other bank locations as needed.
