ShieldIOT is an IoT security startup seeking a Backend/Frontend Team Leader to lead the Core team and develop an AI-powered network security anomaly detection solution. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with people management, requiring you to lead a cross-functional team of backend engineers (Java/Spring), frontend engineers (Angular JS), and DevOps engineers while contributing directly to product development.
You will work across the full product development lifecycle, tackling challenging real-world security problems using state-of-the-art big data technologies and modern frontend frameworks. The ideal candidate is a technically savvy engineer with proven management experience who thrives in dynamic startup environments and can balance strategic team leadership with hands-on technical contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Java/Spring
- Contribute to frontend development with Angular JS
- Drive the development of AI-powered network security anomaly detection capabilities
- Participate in all stages of product development
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Requirements:
- Proven management and team leadership skills
- Excellent engineering skills across backend and frontend domains
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong background in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Motivated, fast learner with independent problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
