Salary: EUR 30,000 - 40,000 / annual
Stratio Automotive is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their Software team in building condition monitoring and predictive maintenance technology for the transportation industry. You will be responsible for curating server-side information architecture, developing, maintaining, and scaling the platform and vehicle information database while ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
In this role, you will participate in feature specification and improvements with the Product Owner; implement and maintain core services with business logic using REST/JSON APIs built with .NET Core; design and implement software architecture supporting high availability and horizontal scalability; advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance; and craft code meeting internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale web environment. You will maintain and advocate for coding standards through code review.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
- Strong knowledge of C#
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server
- Knowledge of software design and architecture
- Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages
- Knowledge of software development life-cycle processes
- Reliability and great problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in English
