Moody's is seeking an AVP - Business Process Transformation to lead enterprise-scale operational transformation initiatives within the Commercial organization. This role focuses on transforming quote-to-cash and ratings workflow processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and business growth.
You will own end-to-end transformation of medium to high-complexity business processes, developing and executing transformation roadmaps that align with strategic, operational, and regulatory objectives. Key responsibilities include leading business case development, requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment. You'll manage the full lifecycle of transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment across Commercial, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams.
The role requires strong expertise in process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, continuous improvement frameworks) and the ability to analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and automation use cases. You'll establish process governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to monitor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
A key differentiator is demonstrated proficiency with AI-enabled analytics, automation, and workflow tools. You'll identify opportunities to leverage technology and advanced analytics to improve business processes, evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions, and understand responsible AI practices, governance, and ethical use.
You'll drive organizational adoption of process excellence methodologies through coaching and stakeholder engagement, represent Business Process Transformation in governance forums, and influence strategic prioritization decisions. This is a fast-paced role within a team focused on digital transformation and AI innovation in the ratings and risk assessment space.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Operations Management, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience); significant experience leading business process transformation or operational excellence initiatives in complex organizations; strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to lead multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities; excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent certification; Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, Agile, or related certification.
