Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. The Avionics team is responsible for the full lifecycle of Terran R's nervous system—designing, building, testing, installing, and operating the hardware that connects and controls every major electrical system on the vehicle and ground. As Avionics Production Supervisor for PCBA, you will directly manage and support the avionics PCBA rework technician team and SMT line. You'll drive daily production execution, quality assurance, and schedule adherence while supporting technician training, certification, and development. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production Control, and Logistics to ensure material readiness and timely issue resolution. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing tools, floor layouts, and capital equipment to improve build efficiency and technician ergonomics; establishing and tracking key production metrics such as throughput, cycle time, and first-pass yield; and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll need a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), plus 3+ years in a production leadership role in aerospace, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing. Direct experience managing or supporting teams building and/or reworking PCBAs and electro-mechanical assemblies is essential. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, proven ability to collaborate across departments in fast-paced environments, and proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and shop floor management software (ERP/MRP/MES) are required. This is an opportunity to shape Terran R's avionics architecture with high ownership on flight-critical components.
