Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual

Clear Street is a modernized brokerage platform founded in 2018, replacing legacy infrastructure across capital markets with a cloud-native clearing and custody system. The company processes billions in daily trading volume and serves as a diversified financial services firm combining product engineering with seasoned finance expertise. This Associate role supports Clear Street's growing Securities Lending business, managing end-to-end stock loan operations and serving as a key operational contact for the Equity Finance team. The position requires a self-starter with strong cross-asset knowledge and experience building operational processes and platforms. Key responsibilities include: - Managing the complete stock loan lifecycle: trade capture, confirmation, daily mark-to-market, rate resets, and settlement - Owning return and recall processes, monitoring open loans, processing early returns, and managing recall timelines - Overseeing corporate action processing (dividends, manufactured payments, rights/spin-offs) - Monitoring operational KPIs, reconciliations, and margin calls - Performing daily position and cash reconciliations across internal systems, prime brokers, custodians, tri-party agents, and CCPs - Managing securities lending fails, buy-in exposure, and close-out procedures - Liaising with Settlement, Risk, Margin, and Revenue Finance teams - Supporting client onboarding and stakeholder communication Required qualifications include at least 2 years in securities lending operations, hands-on experience with loan booking and settlement, deep cross-asset knowledge (equity and fixed income), familiarity with securities lending platforms (Loanet, Equilend, 4sight/FIS, Broadridge), and understanding of MSLAs, GMSLAs, and regulatory frameworks (SFTR, CSDR). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to build relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders are essential.
