Form Energy is hiring an Associate Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. This role reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Operations and owns safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance for assigned production line(s) in a 24/7 operation producing iron-air battery systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics across all shifts
- Leading, developing, and mentoring shift supervisors and production associates to foster a high-performing, continuously learning environment
- Executing the production plan including staffing, materials availability, yield, and schedule adherence in partnership with planning and supply chain teams
- Driving equipment reliability and OEE improvement with maintenance and engineering teams
- Ensuring standardized work and consistent practices across shifts and areas
- Building a culture that prioritizes safety and product quality while meeting production targets
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years managing teams in high-volume manufacturing
- 6+ years in high-volume manufacturing, ideally battery, chemical, powder processing, or similar process-intensive industries
- Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing, SPC, and structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, DMAIC, or similar)
- Experience managing leaders in manufacturing settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
