Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive, personalized platform that combines dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person + virtual care.
You will serve as an operational center point for the product and engineering team, owning the day-to-day operations of Daymark's proprietary Care Management platform. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of product experience ready to take on real ownership and directly impact how care is delivered to cancer patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and organizing the product backlog: refining tickets, tagging, prioritizing, and ensuring clarity for engineering pickup
- Writing requirements and user stories in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Design leads
- Running product operations: sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, retros, and keeping cross-functional partners informed on status and blockers
- Triaging bugs and feature requests as a first point of contact, investigating root causes, and tracking fixes to resolution
- Supporting clinical and care teams with tech support questions and troubleshooting
- Coordinating QA and releases: planning UAT, testing functionality, verifying fixes, and communicating changes to affected teams
- Maintaining clear documentation of specs, workflows, known issues, and release notes
- Gathering feedback from clinical teams through shadowing, interviews, and data analysis to inform discovery and problem statements
- Operating with bias to action on urgent operational needs
You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, and Clinical teams, building the operational rigor that enables a small product team to move quickly and reliably while directly supporting the people delivering care to patients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of professional experience in product management, product operations, project management, QA, or comparable operational role
- Healthcare experience required, preferably in care delivery or clinical software context
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage ambiguous, fast-moving situations
- Clear communication with diverse audiences (clinical staff, technical teams); ability to translate between technical and non-technical language
- Ownership mindset with comfort operating autonomously
- Direct healthcare experience and motivation to understand clinician, care team, and patient workflows; EHR or care management platform experience is a plus
- Proficiency with product/project management tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, Notion, Claude, Figma)
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation, QA, and requirements
- Collaborative working style across teams
- Mission alignment with transforming cancer care
