Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Process Optimization to join the Eligibility and Billing team. This role is fully remote, open to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
You will lead the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including creation of project plans, stakeholder engagement, and driving collaboration across teams to ensure on-time completion. You'll evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics, while assisting in the development of departmental KPIs and implementation of mitigation strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional project implementations with comprehensive planning and stakeholder management
- Analyzing departmental performance data and developing metrics
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on implementation, communications, and change management strategies
- Mentoring team members and supporting their professional development
- Designing and improving workflows with accompanying operating and technical procedures
You will report to the Senior Manager, Process Improvement.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience
- 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting
- 2+ years with data software (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools)
- 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience
- 2+ years designing and improving workflows
- 2+ years with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and knowledge of Enrollment and Billing operations.
