Salary: USD 96,876 - 127,149 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Process Optimization to join the Eligibility and Billing team. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing operational processes and improvements to support organizational goals. You will work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders, leading end-to-end project management, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: leading cross-functional implementations and projects from conception through completion; evaluating departmental performance through data collection, analysis, and metrics development; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on implementation strategies and change management; and mentoring team members on professional development.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Process Improvement and be based in the New York City office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week (Thursdays mandatory for team meetings).
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent experience; 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting; 2+ years with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar); 2+ years end-to-end project management; 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying procedures; 2+ years with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints).
Bonus qualifications include: degree in Engineering or Business Administration; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; working knowledge of Enrollment and Billing systems.
