CloudKitchens is transforming the restaurant industry by converting underutilized properties into smart kitchen facilities that enable restaurateurs to succeed in online food delivery. As an Associate Operations Manager, you'll oversee daily operations at one of our cloud kitchen facilities in Culver City, managing a diverse team while driving partner success and facility profitability. You'll lead and train a dedicated facility team, handling scheduling, training, and performance management. You'll manage order fulfillment processes, oversee a janitorial team to maintain health and safety compliance, and foster a positive work environment. Your responsibilities span multiple domains: you'll conduct facility tours, engage with prospective restaurant partners, and lead sales pitches to onboard new customers. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for restaurant partners, building trusting relationships, solving operational issues, and managing the complete onboarding process including permits, delivery platform setup, and launch strategy. Administratively, you'll participate in planning sessions, review and report KPI metrics, manage facility P&L, and contribute to goal-setting. You'll also handle building maintenance and repairs, conducting routine inspections on HVAC, refrigeration, water heaters, and ice machines, coordinating with external vendors as needed. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of operations management, employee/assistant management, restaurant management, or property management experience. You'll work onsite five days a week in our Culver City office, collaborating closely with experienced colleagues in a fast-growing company operating in a market expanding from $10B to potentially $500B-$1T by 2030.
