CloudKitchens is transforming the food delivery industry by converting underutilized properties into smart kitchen facilities that help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery. As an Associate Operations Manager at a Boston facility, you will oversee daily operations and play a key role in facility success across multiple dimensions. You will lead and manage a dedicated facility team, handling scheduling, training, and performance management while maintaining an efficient order fulfillment process and excellent customer service standards. You'll also manage a janitorial team, upholding cleaning and sanitation protocols in compliance with local health and safety regulations, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. On the sales and partnership side, you'll lead facility tours and engage proactively with prospective restaurant partners, delivering the overall sales pitch. You'll develop and maintain internal relationships to set proper expectations and identify value-added opportunities for customers that other teams can test. Customer support and retention are critical: you'll serve as the primary point of contact for restaurant partners, building trusting relationships and resolving issues. You'll quarterback the onboarding process for new partners, assisting with permits, online delivery platform setup, and launch strategy planning, while managing the overall partner experience to prevent churn and extend lifecycle. Administratively, you'll participate in planning sessions with management and peers, review and report KPI metrics to facility leadership, manage and report the facility P&L, and understand key drivers for achieving facility-level profitability. You'll also conduct routine inspections and maintenance audits on HVAC, refrigeration, water heaters, and ice machines (with training and support), perform general upkeep, handle minor repairs, and coordinate with external vendors for specialized services. The role requires 2 years of preferred experience in operations management, employee/assistant management, restaurant management, or property management. You'll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with weekends as needed, in a flexible schedule. The company emphasizes on-site collaboration five days a week.
